Thank you so much for the lovely package that arrived this morning.I bet you were beginning to wonder if it was lost ! It's amazing that in this day and age it takes a good month for surface mail packages to travel across the pond.

I am thrilled by my first encounter with Manos del Uruguay yarn.I love the rustic quality of this handspun yarn,it's softness and the lively colour of these solids.I want to knit a snuggly winter jacket with it !
The purple refuses to photograph accurately.This is closer,but still not purple enough.I love both colours.I also love the sweet little felted bag pattern.I can think of a couple of people who would love one of these.
In the package were two balser wood gliders,which the boys have been flying.Thank you for thinking of the chick.A cute little tin of nicely strong little sugar-free mints as well.Fab !
I haven't tried to work out who my SP is.Just as well as the addresses,postal locations,etc. have all been different.

This package really cheered me up.It's been a fun weekend at Emma & Co. A weekend filled [!] with a projectile vomiting virus and huge piles of laundry.The chick has been stoical and informs me that he's better now.I am exhausted ! The one thing they don't tell you about having children is the huge number of dreadful ''common'' illnesses you suddenly encounter !
It's horrible not being able to make your sick child better.

Very little knitting done !
