I received a most wonderful, and unexpected, gift from the extremely talented and productive Amy.She's young and attractive as well.Sickening !

That's a hank of some delightfully soft handspun yarn.It really is so very soft, and lightweight,it will be like wearing a cloud around my neck.Gorgeous colours too.
As a spinner I really appreciate other spinners' yarns. They're as individual as we are.I'm really looking forward to knitting this up.
I may or may not knit it up into a Scolf [scarf/stole hybrid] from Amy's pattern, which she also generously sent me.
Thank you so much Amy.It was a lovely surprise.
So I knitted the chick a nice, warm hat [extrapolated from Wendy's hat pattern.

It's in the discontinued Rowan Chunky Soft.I had a couple of partial balls left after selling my remaining stash of it.Better to have it knitted and loved than languishing in the wool room ! I let him help,by holding a needle and unraveling the yarn,so he loves it !
Yes,that is his Felted Tweed slipover I made last winter.Nice and warm, but lightweight. It's holding up well.
The back of Butterfly is not far off the armhole shaping. The colours in the pic are very close to true.

Still a lot of knitting to do.I'm desperate to wear it.This is the most ''in love'' I've been with something I'm knitting for myself in a very long time.
