Sissel's knitting.

WrapCardi.jpg
Sissel's beautiful wrap cardigan, that fits so well,is a Garnstudio design.

***Edited to add: Sissel is modeling the beautiful wrap cardigan that she knitted so expertly. It looks fabulous on her.I'm proud to showcase the work of my friend.***

You can see it here. It's from the new Drops book # 89.It is knitted in Garnstudio Silke-Tweed,52 % silk/48 % lambswool [I love this yarn]. The crochet edges are in Garnstudio Eskimo, 100 % pure wool and the cuffs are in Garnstudio Vivaldi, a mohair blend.
Superb knitting,as always.I wonder if it would look good slightly [ha,ha,ha] bigger, for me.Maybe in dark purple or black,or charcoal...

The very pink scarf is finished and now adorns the gratifyingly grateful recipients neck.

This could easily have been knit in a day,but the Chick was determined to ''do knitting'',so it took ages ! He's very proud of it though. It really is very hard work knitting with little hands clutching the needles whilst you manipulate them, but so worth the pleasure he derives from it.

The Sockapalooza socks are drying in front of the fire.I have anxieties that these will be too big, especially around the ankle.I shall include an offer to knit another pair if the fit is off.I followed the pattern as written, for a change ! When I knitted these before I made them for someone with small feet, with smaller needles and finer yarn. She said they fit,but never did show a picture on her blog.Has anyone else knit these in Koigu ? How did your's turn out ? See,even ''experienced'' knitters, who should know better, suffer finished project angst !

The chick in his new glasses. He's still getting used to wearing them. It'll be a while before he wears them all the time,as he's meant to.Five is a hard age to ''have to'' do anything all the time.

Here are my new metallic raspberry frames.I like them a lot.Not so keen on how strong the lenses are !
