my Jaywalkers socks are not finished in time to meet the

deadline. I am so sorry Cara. I did my best.
I just didn't get as much knitting time as I'd hoped.
I did manage to knit a bit at Saturday's very enjoyable knit and chat. As usual I forgot about my camera until the end.

Wonderful to see Chris again. Really miss chatting - I know,I'm rubbish at e-mails. Ask anyone ! Always a joy to spend time with Tracey, and to share a love of colour and enthusiasm for yarn and fibre. The same goes for my other dear friends not pictured. It was great to spend time with you. I didn't realise how much I needed that social lift until I was amongst friends !

A quick bit of yarn p*rn ! I had a little exchamge with Bron. If you don't know Bron you should ! A great and speedy knitter and crocheter, refreshingly fearless when it comes to altering patterns, she has a sharp wit, bright mind and says what she thinks. My kind of woman. I'm not buying much yarn at the moment [think hoist !],but confess to using some of my birthday money to buy some yarn from Curious Yarns. I indulged in a couple of one hank [it'll become obvious when you read the site] sock yarns for me,and some really nice organic, rare breed chunky yarn for Bron. In return I got some gorgeous yarns from Knitpicks. I love alpaca ! It's hypoallergenic you know Kay !

In the pretty tissue was a fabulous birthday gift. Gorgeous colour Alpaca/silk/merino blend.

Thank you so much Bron.
