Or,at least,trying to !
Tired, tired, tired. Bone crushingly tired. So tired that it took me all day on thursday to just shower, wash my hair, dress and stagger to pick up the chick from school. I'm dragging around a lead weight, with a cotton wool brain. H-E-L-P !
I'm guessing it's a side effect from the latest meds. Marvellous !
Oliver had a weird 24 hour bug thing. He threw up last night, had a bit of a temperature before bed and gladly had some Calpol. We were up with him at 3.00 a.m. The two of us spent the day flopped on the bed, dozing in front of the television. He was fine by the time Allan got home, even eating chicken. I did knit a little, but mainly tried to ease these overwhelming feelings of tiredness.

I managed to finish something. I knit a friend some socks.

I hope they fit well. I love the colours.

I received a most beautiful,yet practical,item in the post.

One of Cassie's beautiful, expertly finished and perfect Emergency Sock kits. I love the fabric choices and the colours. Such sexy bound edges and mitred corners.

You know why I picked this bottle of wine ! It was very nice. A fruity Shiraz.

I'll have to tell you about my new project, for me,next time. Maybe I'll just finish this one - you know I have a few on the back burner. :0)
It was fun to dive into the wool room and stir the stash a bit. I came up with something a little surprising, but which pleases me. More next time.

It's so thrilling to see the eBay auction going so well. Many thanks to all the bidders. There's still time to bid on an exquisite stole, expertly knitted. ;-]
p.s. Whilst writing this I've been listening to this "Bring Back the Funk parts 1 & 2". Oh yes !
I've had a ''thing'' for Paul Weller since first seeing The Jam at the Roundhouse in the late 1970s. I was no mod. Always been a short[fat]arsed hippy. No matter. That man does something to me. Eh Minxxy ? [Nice hair. Where's the bloody knitting?! ]
Thomas knitted a most beautiful stole, then, very generously, decided to auction it for Oliver's fund.
The eBay auction is now running. It was set up by Jane.
Thank you so much to Thomas and Jane.
Please,if you can and would like to own a knitted masterpiece,go and bid. We are struggling to raise the money for a car hoist, and would dearly love to see Oliver driving his Hippo along the beach, wind in his hair !,or out across the moors.
The eBay auction again !
Thank you.
