SOCKS AND STUFF !

Finished, wrapped but not yet posted. Started another pair in this pattern, for a friend, using the same pattern and some of Dee's delicious cashmere blend DK yarn.

Colour is quite close, but you can't see the stitches. This one shows the pattern better, it's just a completely wrong colour !
Yet another sock

in the Sweet Georgia speed demon sock yarn[Black Orchid. The colour in the pic is pretty true.]. A simple eyelet pattern, that shows up better here.
A scarf following Kim's great pattern, using the Cherry Tree sock yarn gifted by my KTSpal, along with some KidSilk Haze [the two yarns are held together to knit at the same time]. It makes a delightfully soft fabric. Worth the slightly tiresome knitting. It's those long purl rows !

I was going to write about the house but haven't the stomach for it today. Haven't even taken pics yet ! The builder was here today, removing mosaic tiles...
My knitting life is all about the small projects right now. The house stuff takes all my stamina ! It'll get better. Right now I'll put in the links, then off to bed.
Actually, I'm astounded by how stressful I'm finding this whole builder thing. The house is even more of a tip than usual and the added stress has turned me into a pathetic, anxiety ridden, person ! I'm normally so laid back and calm. I'm going to have to work harder at getting things into perspective. O.K., I'll talk about it all a bit more next time. I really am shattered.

I'm with Cate on this one. I think it would be amusing to startle the researcher with the number of knitbloggers who link to this. I rather like the idea of us all mischeviously skewing the figures. So, humour me [!], link to this meme experiment.
