ACTION SHOT !

A lovely day was had.
We ate too much !
I'll tell you all about it [well, some of it] once I've recovered. I'm off to bed, having zonked out on the sofa, again, in a most awkward position.
Zzzzzzzzzzz...

SEASON'S GREETINGS !

Wishing everyone the happiest of mid-winter, or mid-summer, festivals.

Someone has been very anxious about ''Santa'' visiting, I discovered earlier. He needed much reassurance that he had been a really good boy this year. Which he has ! He tries so hard to please, and to make everyone happy, sometimes at great strain. My sweet little worrier. He thanked me for my support ! Where did he get that from ?! Anyway, much cuddling, kissing and soothing chat means that he was ready for Santa.

I've got my Christmas knitting sorted. This hank of Shaeffer Anne looked bright and festive.

Really bright !

Remember a while back, when I talked about how winding the yarn into a ball gives you a clearer idea of how the yarn will knit up? It won't show you exactly how it will look knitted, but will reveal the colour balance. This yarn is much more red dominant than you'd think by looking at the hank. I have a friend, who I was at art college with, who will love socks made from this yarn. Now, do I knit plain socks and let the yarn just glow, or do I go fancy with some sort of zig-zag pattern ?...

Much love to everyone as the year turns the corner. I have great hopes for 2007.
