TIRED !

We're better now. The flu has gone. It's the Easter holiday, or spring food fest. Well, mostly chocolate fest. Jolly good !
I feel incredibly tired. All the time. Yet I'm having trouble sleeping. Fab !
So tired I'm hardly knitting, can hardly think, and don't have the energy for a decent blog post.

The Chick bought me tulips last weekend, with his pocket money, because he wanted to. Sigh. May he always love his mama. And the significant other of his choice, of course !

I've finished the socks I talk about here. Scroll down [I'm assuming you all know to click on ''here'' !].
I was going to write at length about these. This is the abridged version. Love the yarn. So soft when washed, yet with a firm enough twist not to feel delicate. Really like the pattern.
You will note that I am not claiming this pattern as my own. I may have changed the heels and toes. These small alterations do not entitle me to say that this is my pattern. Nor does knitting it from the toe up, which the designer says you can do, or altering the increase, that is then slipped over two stitches, from yo to pick up strand between two stitches. The pattern looks exactly the same. ~It is not original enough to call your own, and then sell to an online mag. Nor does using a different cuff make it your original pattern to use in a sock knitting tornament. Good manners means giving credit to the person who gave you the idea. I tip my cap to the person who designed the Snake Skin socks for the sixsockknitalong group, many months ago. That is my view, in a nutshell, on that. Manners maketh the knitter, and all that.

[Edited to add: I found some lovely pics, that really show the pattern well, of a fab pair made by a new to me blogger here. Read what she says about the pattern. Then go and admire her knitting !]

I must go to bed, but shall have to wait for a very hot and dizzy moment to pass.
Marvellous !

P.S. Would anyone be prepared to buy for me, in exchange for something [name your price !] a Pony rosewood circular knitting needle. I've heard tell that they are exactly the same as the Colonial circulars, which are [well, the one circular I luckily bought at great reduction in the sales] my absolute favourite knitting needles. Ever. The points, so sharp. The join, so smooth. The cable, so much better in use than it looks.
I ordered a needle about six weeks ago. No show. The retailer has got USPS hunting for my precious, small package. So, if anyone would like to put me out of my misery please leave a comment and I'll be very grateful. Thanks.
