Look at the stunning blanket that Michaela has put together. Her mother, very generously, made all the little triangles for the pointy border. It's lovely.
I'm not sure when Michaela will be raffling it. £1.00 or $2.00 a ticket ! ...
***ETA The raffle will, I think, be tomorrow afternoon. Or possibly later. ***
My pinkish/purpleish squares are too late for the pink/purple/blue blanket. Whoops. I'm hoping Michaela will slot them in somewhere.

I'm so behind with stuff. Short, sharp colds over the weekend. Oliver's pink cheeks are the result of a high temperature !

There have been physio and equipment hassles to deal with.
And very little knitting. Still, enough to show.
A squishy, slob about the house sock in Posh Yarn's Emily. Just the one, for now.

The marmalade sock grows slowly, but beautifully. I am in love with this sock yarn. Tightly spun, yet so soft, with a gorgeous sheen.

I decided to knit a slip stitch band heel, in an attempt to prevent the premature wearing out of the heel. It surprises me that band heels aren't knit more often.

The colur in the next pic is closer than the others. As you can see I'm nearing the toe.

I shoved a magazine down the leg to show the pattern better. Ir'll look nice on the leg !
That's it. Bed time. Maybe I'll catch up on e-mails tomorrow. I did want to thank everyone for their lovely birthday wishes. They gave me a real lift.
Thank you. xxx
