That's what I have been feeling for a while. Reasons are numerous and varied. Mostly I've been very distracted by isuues regarding Oliver and education. I rather wish I could freely rant, but I shall exhibit restraint. Just very distracted !
Allan hasn't been around for most of this week, so I am also feeling very tired, mentally and physically. Not much knitting to report as a result of that and the afore mentioned distraction.
I think I need to cheer myself up ! I did spend the afternoon with two friends, chatting, drinking tea, eating cake and knitting. They did most of the knitting ! I was, as always, so glad of their company and engaging, intelligent conversation. So, it's not all bad.
I thought I'd write a post as I'm trying to reinstate the habit. That, and my bloglines subs have sprung a leak ! My blog seems to lose readers when I'm quiet, which is understandable, and each time I post, which is confusing. Not that I'm worried. Just noticing. Life is too short, etc.
I pinched a Meme from Kathleen's blog.

Here are the rules:
Link to the person who tagged you.
Mention the rules.
Tell six quirky yet boring, unspectacular details about yourself.
Tag six other bloggers by linking to them.
Go to each person's blog and leave a comment that let's them know they've been tagged.

Sadly I'm struggling to think of six things worth writing about !

1. I dislike, yet am fascinated by, corporate speak. If you want me to think you are a total plonker pepper your conversation with some of these :
"Blue chip company", "helicopter view", "conversation at risk of going viral", "clear sky thinking", etc.
What's wrong with good, plain English, and does anyone know what they're on about ?
There are loads more but, strangely, I can't seem to bring them to mind.

2. For someone who doesn't clean more than I have to I am oddly obsessed with 'products'! I view the Lakeland catalogues as a jolly good read !

3. Despite having a lot less time, or energy, for reading and knitting I continue to buy yarn and books as if that were not the case. I can see this on an intellectual level, but my heart is in denial.

4. I adore intense, saturated colours yet mostly wear black, with occasional, subdued colour accents.

I'm really am struggling now. I'll have to see if I can come up with something ! Suggestions of the constructive variety are always welcome. I don't tag people, so feel free to join in if you like. Just say in the comments, so we an all rush over to read !
Here are two photos from a visit to Whitby a couple of weeks ago, just before a thick fog rolled in from the sea.
Our beautiful chick.
A view of the replica Grand Turk in the harbour.

Is it spring yet ?
