THE HOLIDAYS ATE MY BRAIN.

And all my time, energy and knitting mojo.
Still, I've finished the Shur'tugal socks. At last.
It's a free pattern from here

I enjoyed knitting them, when I managed to pick my knitting up. The size medium, that I made, will fit a slender-ankled person. There's not masses of give in the pattern. Less than slender ? Knit the larger size.
The yarn, Exquisite from Skein Queen, is really lovely. Soft with a little nylon for strength. A lot of indie dyers are using this base yarn. Perfect for socks !
I've got more photos to edit and tales of a lace edged mitt gone wrong, ripped back and re-knit. Bet you can't wait !
In the meantime, I'd like some summer weather back. It's felt like October for the past few wet, windy, chilly days.
